Dr. Jack Mavromatis

Dr. Jack Mavromatis has been practicing dentistry since 1984. Dr. Jack is a Tidewater native. After graduating from Norfolk Academy in 1975, he attended the University of Richmond in 1979 where he received his Bachelors in Science. Following his degree, he attended The Medical College of Virginia’s School of Dentistry in 1984 earning a Doctorate of Dental Surgery.

Dr. Jack takes pride in treating all of his patients as if they were his own family members. He treats each with respect and delivers the most state of the art dental care possible. His commitment to his profession is evident to his patients and staff members. His patients find him to be easy going and they also enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of his office.

Dr. Jack has always been a sports enthusiast having played football and basketball in high school and, also running track at the University of Richmond. His love of sports continued as his two sons became old enough to participate in organized sports. He proudly spent much of his spare time practicing with and coaching their teams successfully. Along with his coaching, came lifelong friendships with the families. He has continued to enjoy watching these “teammates” grow up to young adults and follow their progress through college and beyond. He has always cherished the loyalties of his long-time patients and looks forward to establishing relationships with new patients as well.

Dr. Jack is an active member of the American Dental Association, Virginia State Dental Association, and the Tidewater Dental Association. He is dedicated to keeping his dental knowledge and skills current by attending continuing education courses, study clubs, and conventions.
Dr. Jack is married to his wife Tammy and, has two sons Carter and Corey.

He and his wife have a yellow lab named Macon. He enjoys golf, boating, and the beach.
